Imaging Characteristic of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm on CTscanner at E Hospital

Abstract: Abdominal aortic aneurysm is a swelling (aneurysm) of the aorta. aneurysms often grow slowly without noticeable symptoms, so screening by clinical examination combined with imaging methods to detect disease early helps reduce morbidity and mortality. Computed tomography (CT) becoming increasingly common has become good method for detecting abdominal aneurysms. This study aims describe characteristics computed scanner at E Hospital. A retrospective prospective descriptive on 34 patients CTscanner Hospital from June 2022 May 2023. The results indicated that past 60 age: 94.1%. Male: 61.8%, female: 38.2%. Aneurysm under renal artery: 100%. Lozenge aneurysm: 97.1%, Bag shape 2.9%. Calcify vessel wall: 61.8%. Thrombosis 58.8%. Diameter ≤ 50mm: 82.4% length ≤50mm: Injury lateral 35.3%, include iliac 41.7%. Conclusion: identify evaluate aneurysm, thereby contributing an important part making treatment patients
